The Corsair K100 is an outstanding piece of gaming hardware. The use of this very well-built keyboard is made comfortable, and it features RGB backlighting that can be customized. Cherry MX Speed switches having a low working force, a short pre-travel distance, and extremely low latency thanks to an 8000Hz polling rate. Additionally, the switches have a short pre-travel distance. Additionally, it is offered in the OPX switches produced by Corsair, which are said to have a shorter pre-travel distance and should provide a little more responsive sensation overall.
There are six macro buttons on the left side of the keyboard in addition to the programmability of all of the other keys. During the course of two days of use, we had four or five instances in which keycaps unexpectedly returned to their original position approximately one second after we had pressed them. A significant number of the K100’s design aspects are virtually identical to those of its forerunner. RGB lighting is pleasing to the eye, but it does not contribute anything novel to the discussion. You do, however, additionally receive lighting that extends around the sides and rear of the room. When it comes to the next model, maybe Corsair will figure out a method to include the illuminating Capellix LEDs into the wrist rest or the cable. That is not a recommendation; rather, it is more of an observation that there is not much further that can be illuminated in this space at this point.
