The HP DeskJet 2755e is small for a desktop printer, measuring only 6.7 by 11.97 by 6.06 inches. You should be able to put this small printer on your home desk next to your home computer without too much trouble. It weighs 7.55 pounds, so you can move it around the house if you need to. However, it’s a little heavier than some other small printers we’ve reviewed, like the HP Deskjet 3755. (5.13 pounds).
But when you compare this printer to most normal-sized printers, which weigh anywhere from 15 to 40 lbs, the HP DeskJet 2755e is a huge featherweight. So, if you want a printer for a small home office that you can easily move from room to room, or if you want to share it with several students in a dorm, this is an excellent choice.
If you want to print wirelessly, you can use the HP Smart app, Apple AirPrintTM, Chrome OS, or Mopria with this printer. If you still use faxes, you can’t use this printer with them. When the output extension is not out, the HP Deskjet 2755e printer weighs 7.5 pounds and is 16.7 by 11.97 by 6.06 inches.
The HP Deskjet 2755e has an input tray that can hold up to 60 sheets of paper and an output tray that can hold up to 25 sheets of paper. It can also hold up to five envelopes at once if you need to print mail-outs.
The DeskJet could also print graphics that looked good. The colors looked natural, the changes were smooth, and there was no visible banding. Text in PDF text document, on the other hand, looked a little too heavy and blurry around the edges.
Text documents that look clearer would be better for long-term reading. To make sure it wasn’t the software, we printed the PDF both from Adobe Acrobat and from HP Smart and got the same result both times.
The HP DeskJet 2755e is a budget all-in-one inkjet printer designed for home use. It’s part of HP’s 2700e all-in-one series and is the same printer as the HP DeskJet 2755, except that it comes with a six-month subscription to HP Instant Ink, a service that sends you ink when your printer notices that the cartridges are running low.
It can connect to Wi-Fi and USB, supports Apple AirPrint and Mopria Print Service, and works with the HP Smart mobile app. It only has a flatbed scanner and cannot fax or use an automatic document feeder. It has a two-cartridge system with a black and a tri-color ink cartridge.
