Because of how low its latency is, the Razer Huntsman V2 is a great gaming keyboard. Razer Linear Optical switches have a short pre-travel distance and a light operating force, which makes them feel very responsive. You can assign a macro to any key on the board or through the Synapse 3 software. It has a comfortable leatherette wrist rest and RGB backlighting that can be changed. But, even though it seems well-made, some of the bigger keys are a little loose, and some of them sound and feel different than the smaller ones.

Where to get Razer Huntsman V2 Optical Gaming Keyboard?
Since the Razer Huntsman V2 costs around $200 USD or £200 GBP, you’d expect that its build quality would match its high price, and thankfully, it does. Its chassis weighs just over 1 kg and feels solid and sturdy. Its aluminum top plate doesn’t bend at all during normal use or when it’s put under stress. Most keyboards can send a report to the computer up to 1,000 times per second, but the Huntsman V2 can do it up to 8,000 times per second. With the Synapse software from Razer, you can also change the polling rate of the keyboard to 4,000, 2,000, 1,000, 500, 250, or 125 Hz.
Razer says that the keyboard’s total input delay is just 1/8th of a millisecond, or 0.125ms. This is because of the keyboard’s high polling rate of 8,000 Hz and the low latency of its optical mechanical switches. The Razer Huntsman V2 works with the Razer Synapse software, just like most Razer peripherals made in the last few years. This all-in-one programme lets you change the functions of keys, set up profiles for individual games, change the RGB lighting, change what the volume wheel does, and more. The programme has become much more stable and easy to use over time. Even though it can be complicated, especially if you want to make your own RGB patterns, it’s easy enough to use for everyday tasks.
The RGB lighting itself is bright and full of different colors. You can also choose from a lot of nice presets if you don’t want to mess around with the Razer Chroma software. The keyboard now connects with a single USB cable instead of a two-pronged USB cable for basic functionality and RGB features. This is an improvement over the previous Huntsman.
