The Amazfit GTS 4 is the sister watch to the Amazfit GTR 4. It looks a lot like the Apple Watch in terms of style. This wearable doesn’t have quite as long of a battery life as the GTR 4, but it is still much more durable than some competitors.
The Amazfit GTS 4 looks a lot like the Apple Watch. It has a round, rectangular face and a digital crown that turns. The crown is in the middle of the right side of the watch and there is no secondary button. Even though this style has been around for a while, it’s still a good-looking one, and the GTS 4 looks good whether it’s dressed up or in sports gear.
It comes in black or gold and has a few different band options. It fits standard 20mm watch bands, so you can change the way it looks to suit your style. The watch’s hardware also seems to be of good quality, and the 390 x 450 OLED display is bright and colourful enough to see outside.
On the bottom of the Amazfit GTS 4 is a group of health sensors that can track your heart rate, SpO2, and stress levels (though Amazfit calculates stress solely using heart rate variability). The only extra thing that comes with the GTS 4 is a magnetic charger that plugs into a USB-A port. That’s a bummer, but that kind of thing happens a lot.
The Amazfit GTS 4, like its sister smartwatch, is mostly used to track health and fitness. But it has features that can be useful even when you’re not working out. The watch runs on Zepp OS, which is Amazfit’s own software. It doesn’t work with third-party apps like Spotify, which may be a deal-breaker for some.
Still, you get a lot of the basics, like a weather app, a calendar, voice memos, and navigation apps like a compass. You can set your phone to alert you when certain apps do something, and apps like WhatsApp and Messenger even let you send simple replies to friends and family when they ping you.
Alexa is also built in, and you can use it by pressing the button on the watch for a long time. For this to work, the watch will need to be connected to both your phone and the internet.
The GTS 4 is the same as other Amazfit smartwatches in that it can be used for a wide range of workouts. On the watch, you can keep track of more than 150 workouts, such as walking, running, swimming, cycling, and yoga.
There is also support for more unusual activities, like disco dancing, tug-of-war, and chess, if you really need to check your vital signs while doing one of these. The Zepp app, which is available for iOS and Android, keeps track of your exercise and health data.
