Where to get Bang and Olufsen Beosound A1 Gen 2 Bluetooth Speaker?
B&O usually does a good job of making speakers that look nice, and this one is no different. The B&O Beosound A1 is a round disc-shaped device made of metal. It is a little thinner and lighter than its first-generation predecessor. On one side, there is a leather carrying strap with a Bang & Olufsen toggle that lets you change the length. It makes it easy to grab and hook onto things for safety when moving.
The A1 2nd Gen speaker has Bluetooth 5.1, which lets you connect quickly. You can also pair with two things at the same time. Just be aware of which devices are connected. If someone forgets they’re still connected and trying to listen to music, it’s easy to fight over control of the speaker. The speaker can also be a great speakerphone. With a three-mic array, people on the other end of the call can hear voices loud and clear. You can also use it like a conference phone because of its shape and “True360” audio.
When it comes to Bang & Olufsen products, there is one app that controls them all. The app is easy to use, which is great. And it’s good enough to use. To use the speaker, you’ll need to pair the app with it. You can do this on any device with which it shares a Bluetooth connection.
When you connect, the Beosound A1 2nd Gen will show up on the app. You can choose it to use all the software features. A picture of the speaker is at the top, followed by a small icon and a percentage that show how much battery life is left. Below that, you’ll find some in-app media controls like play/pause, forward/rewind, and volume controls. Even though I didn’t really need those controls, it was nice to have them close by when I was playing with the app. The battery life is strange because B&O says the new A1 can play music for longer, but the main number given is 18 hours instead of 24. But the company says that if you use less, you can get up to 48 hours.
