The Acer Swift 3 is one of the company’s most popular laptops, and the 2022 version has a lot of great new features that make it a great choice for most people. It has a lot of power with Intel’s P series, up to a Quad HD screen, and a very good webcam that makes it great for remote learning or work. This may be my favorite feature.
The Acer Swift 3 I got is a very boring-looking product, at least in the version I got. Acer said it would be available in three colors, but I’ve only been able to find it in silver, which seems to be the most common choice. It makes sense, since silver laptops are the most popular, but it doesn’t stand out at all, which is something I wish more laptops would do.

Where to get Acer Swift 3?
In our real-world Wi-Fi test, the Acer laptop can run for 12 hours. We use a script to mimic the load that happens when people go to websites. The brightness of the screen is set to about 150 cd/m2 (-5 levels). For a 56 Wh battery, this is a very good result. The new power-saving mode in Windows 11 could play a small part in this: When it’s on, it stops some background tasks and notifications from happening.
Our tests show that the Swift 3 uses a very small amount of power. But 33 watts is not the lowest value in the test field when the load is average. The Dell XPS 13 with the same chip is more energy efficient, but it scores lower in CPU benchmarks. The included power adapter has a capacity of 65 watts, which is high enough to make sure a steady supply of power.
In the stress test, the amount of power used drops quickly after just under a minute (it starts with a total system power consumption of 65 watts). At this point, the PL1 Sustained value with 28 watts turns on. The same things happen with the other Intel models. On the other hand, AMD always works at the same level (Lenovo ThinkBook 13s G3).
