The Acer Vero BR277 is a budget 27-inch monitor that strives to differentiate itself from the other budget monitors of the same size but ultimately fails to do so. The fact that it is constructed from recycled plastics, which is fantastic for the eco-warrior, is the only redeeming quality of the display; otherwise, it is quite unremarkable.
The most distinguishing quality of the Vero BR277 does not, as one might expect, appear on the list of technical specifications. The monitor holds EPEAT Silver certification and is constructed from at least fifty percent recycled consumer material. Also, it is packaged in packaging that is one hundred percent recyclable. In addition to that, it uses very little power, although to be fair, that can be said with most monitors.
Customers should be aware that the Vero BR277 has a more compact brother model with a 24-inch display called the Vero BR247. It is $50 cheaper than the 27-inch model that was reviewed here, and it offers the exact same features, with the possible exception that its image quality may be different. At first appearance, you wouldn’t be able to tell that the Acer Vero BR277 is constructed in part from recycled materials. The monitor is able to fit in with its surroundings thanks to a straightforward matte-black frame and narrow bezels.

Where to get Acer Vero BR277?
In any event, the Vero BR277 doesn’t exactly impress with its appearance. Monitors of comparable quality can be purchased from competitors such as Dell and LG for the same price.
Nonetheless, the monitor’s construction quality is not affected in any way by the recycled components. The majority of the panels have an adequate sense of stability, and manipulating a monitor usually does not result in any distracting creaks or groans. But, in comparison to other affordable monitors like Samsung, LG, and even Dell, the Vero BR277 appears to be sturdier and heavier.
It is encouraging to see this in a monitor that was designed with sustainability in mind. If you are concerned about the environment, it is in your best interest to make use of a monitor for as long as possible because the majority of the environmental effect associated with its lifetime is caused during its creation. The Vero BR277 appears to be prepared for the journey ahead.
