Where to buy Bang & Olufsen Beolit 20 portable speaker?
The Beolit 20 is another attractive portable speaker from Beolit. It comes in either black-and-blue or gray-and-gold colours. It looks like a very classy lunchbox. It is 5.3 inches tall, 9.1 inches wide, and 7.5 inches deep, and it weighs 5.9 pounds. It has a strong leather strap that attaches to the top corners diagonally instead of running along the outer edges of the speaker. This is a cool design feature. The middle part has an anodized aluminium grille that goes all the way around it.
Behind the grille are two 35-watt class-D amplifiers that power a 5.5-inch woofer, three 1.5-inch full-range drivers, and two 4-inch passive bass radiators to make a frequency range of 37Hz to 27kHz. It works with Bluetooth 4.2 and supports the AAC and SBC codecs, but not the AptX codec.
The top of the speaker has a flat, recessed panel that looks like the inside of a tray. On the left side of the screen, there are buttons for power, Bluetooth, play/pause, and volume up/down. But the best thing about it is hidden: The middle is a Qi-certified charging surface, so you can charge your phone while you listen to music. If the Beolit 20 isn’t plugged into a power source, you’ll have to use its own battery to charge your phone.
On the back, there is a USB-C port for the included USB-C charging cable, which plugs into a wall adapter. (Two plug adapters for the EU and UK are included.) Also, there is a 3.5mm aux input, but no cable is included. It doesn’t have a speakerphone function, which seems like it would have been easy to add without adding extra buttons that would make the design more complicated.
The Beolit 20 looks a lot like its processor, the Beolit 17, at first glance. If you have already used the 17, this will feel like a natural step up. This portable speaker has a lot of extra features in addition to wireless charging.
In place of ruggedization and waterproofing, you get high-performance Bluetooth for seamless streaming and stereo pairing to fill your home with music. The battery in the Beolit 20 is also bigger than the one in the 17. It can hold a charge for 8 hours.
