With a new taskbar and a new version of Android 12L, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 makes it easier to do more than one thing at once. Samsung also has better cameras, a bigger display on the front, and a brighter main screen, all in a slimmer package. But the price is still very high, and the device is still big.
Not quite as tall and not quite as slim. That’s the main difference between the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3, but to stop there would be a disservice to the tiny changes that make a big difference. When it’s closed, the Z Fold 4 isn’t quite as easy to hold as a phone that doesn’t fold, but it’s close.
Compared to other on-screen keyboards, the Z Fold 4’s letters are a few pixels wider, but I can type faster and with more accuracy on it. It’s also great that Google’s Gboard keyboard now has a split view, just like Samsung’s.

Where to get Galaxy Z Fold 4?
Still, you have a very thick and heavy phone to deal with. It weighs 263 grams and is 15.8 mm thick when closed, so it weighs down your pocket and stands out in a bag. Again, though, it’s not as big as the Z Fold 3. The Z Fold 4 is a big improvement over its predecessor in terms of how it looks and how big it is. The outside has a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2316 x 904, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and an aspect ratio of 23.1:9.
When you open the phone, you’ll see a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a resolution of 2176 x 1812. The refresh rate for the open screen ranges from 1Hz to 120Hz, while the refresh rate for the cover screen ranges from 48Hz to 120Hz.
Smaller bezels around the cover screen and changes to the phone’s shape have made it much easier to use. These changes are important to the phone’s improved design and ease of use. You can watch videos, play games, read books, look at and change photos, and do other things on the inside screen. The good news is that the new shape makes it easier to use even here.
