The Hisense HS218 is a 2.1 soundbar that won’t break the bank. Out of the box, it has a pretty neutral sound profile that works well with most types of audio, though it can also sound a bit dark. Even though it has a subwoofer, it doesn’t make a very deep low-bass sound, so you don’t feel the deep thumping and rumbling of bass-heavy music and action movies. Still, there are some basic ways to improve the sound, like EQ presets and dialogue enhancement, which let you change the way it sounds.
The Hisense HS214 is a typical all-in-one soundbar, with a simple but well-made black cabinet. On the front, there is a mesh grille, and behind that are the speakers and a series of LED lights. On the top, there are touch-sensitive controls, and on the sides, there are ports. There is also a woofer in the bottom, and this is the only place where the finish looked a little sloppy (but didn’t affect how well it worked). The HS214 is 650mm wide, 58mm tall, and 95mm deep. It weighs 2.17kg.

Where to get Hisense HS214 2.1ch Sound Bar?
There are two screw holes on the back of the HS214 for people who want to mount it on the wall. There is also a space to the left (as you look at the soundbar) for the connections and a space to the right for the two-pin power cable. Touch-sensitive controls let you turn the device on and off, change the input, and turn up or down the volume. You can also remove a sticker that tells you what the different colored LEDs mean.
The included remote is pretty good for a soundbar at this price. It’s easy to hold and has all the important buttons in a logical place. You can turn it on and off, mute the volume, change the volume, switch between sound modes, choose sources, dim the display, change the bass, play, pause, skip, choose the surround mode, and pair with Bluetooth devices.
