Lenovo has always made laptops that look good, no matter how much they cost, and the new IdeaPad 3 is no different. With its brushed aluminium lid and keyboard ring, it doesn’t look like a cheap laptop at all. The bottom and screen bezel are both made of plastic, but the build quality is good, and it’s nice to see a cool colour like the stylish dark Cherry Red that my review sample came in.
Lenovo says that the bezels around the screen of the IdeaPad 3i are narrow, but I wouldn’t say that, especially at the bottom where the bezel is huge and there isn’t even a logo to break it up. The webcam has a physical privacy shutter, which is a plus, but the camera itself is only 0.3Mp, which isn’t very good (not even 720p).

Where to get Lenovo IdeaPad 3i ?
Our Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3i has an Intel Core i5-11300H CPU, a dedicated NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 GPU, 8GB of memory, a 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD, and a 1TB 2.5 inch 5400rpm hard drive for a total of 1256GB of storage. You can also get a Core i5-11320H, Core i7-11370H, or Core i7-11390H for the laptop.
There isn’t much difference in performance between the two Core i5s, and the same goes for the two Core i7s, though the i7s are faster than the i5s and can give slightly higher frame rates in games. In terms of how the GPU is set up, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 can get around 60 frames per second at 1080p, but you’ll have to play most games on low settings.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 is faster than the GTX 1650, and with high settings, it will give you a more stable 60 fps or more. The RTX 3050Ti is just a little bit better than the RTX 3050, but only by a few frames per second at most in games with a lot of graphics.
