If you know the G502 from its last version, don’t expect to see many changes on the outside. It’s still the same dark, moody, sharp-edged mouse that looks like the Batmobile. It doesn’t look right in an office, but it looks fine in a computer battlestation. Matte black plastic is used for the main buttons and grips, while shiny black plastic is used between the mouse’s different parts and on the extra buttons. Matte plastic is good at hiding hand grease, but shiny plastic isn’t as good.
The scroll wheel is shiny, made of metal, and has small cuts in it. The notch scrolling can be turned on or off with a button just behind the scroll wheel. It’s a real treat to hear the clicks. When you use the mouse to scroll indefinitely, the wheel can spin so easily that a good flick can keep it spinning for more than 10 seconds. Terms of service and other long papers have never been easier to avoid reading.

Where to get Logitech G502 HERO High Performance Wired Gaming Mouse?
Even though the G502 feels strong overall, the sharp edges almost make it look like it could be used to draw blood. The two buttons to the left of the main click also stick out in an odd way and feel like they could break off easily. The DPI lights and the Logitech G logo on the G502 Hero can be changed to any color you want. Both lighting zones are cleverly placed so that you can see them when you hold the mouse between your thumb and middle finger. The DPI lights don’t stay on by default, though.
Most of the time, the placement of buttons is good. The three hand buttons feel different, are easy to reach, and are hard to click by accident. Some people may find it hard to use the two buttons to the left of the main button on the mouse. We keep them set to DPI switches, and it’s easy to accidentally hit the one in front, which makes the mouse move much faster. For people with bigger hands, the G502 Hero isn’t the most comfy. It’s a little bit thin, and the side grips aren’t very good. A claw grip works fine, but a better grip would come from deeper lines and a softer rubber finish. When the bottom section pops open, you can add up to five 3.6g weights to give the G502 Hero a nice weight.
