The Moto G Play’s design is our favorite thing about it. Nothing about it looks or feels cheap. If you put it next to a medium smartphone, you might not be able to tell which one is cheaper by a few hundred dollars. The plastic feels strong and doesn’t seem to get fingerprints or scratches. It only comes in one color, Deep Indigo, which is a nice dark blue.
The 2023 Moto G Play is a big phone. It’s 6.58 by 3.01 by 0.37 inches (HWD) and weighs 7.16 ounces, which is about the same as phones from earlier years. It has a good ratio of 86.45% screen to body. There are visible bezels around the screen’s edges, which hold the selfie camera notch above the screen, but they don’t get in the way too much.

Where to get Moto G Play mobile phone?
On the back of the phone, there are three cameras that are lined up vertically. In the middle of the top half of the back panel is a fingerprint reader that lets you open the phone. We put the scanner through a lot of tests and found that it was accurate and quick. If you turn the phone around, you’ll see that the top has a 3.5mm jack. Headphone jacks are becoming less common, so people who use wired headphones should be happy. On the right edge are the power button and the volume rocker. On the bottom edge is a single speaker and a USB-C port. Lastly, there is a space on the left side for a SIM card or a microSD card.
Phones that cost less than $200 may or may not be able to use 5G. The Moto G Play doesn’t have 5G, but in our tests, it had good LTE speed and stability, which is a big help. The fact that 5G support often only costs a little bit more may be the phone’s biggest problem. For example, the Samsung Galaxy A14, which was already stated, costs only $30 more. Everyone has a different budget, but if you have the extra cash and live in an area with 5G service, it’s worth it to upgrade to a more future-proof phone.
