Content artists have typically been targeted by MSI’s Prestige 14 laptop line as their primary audience. But things aren’t looking so good for the Prestige 14 Evo right now. It costs less than the Prestige 14, and it does not feature a screen with a high resolution or a separate graphics processing unit (GPU), both of which would make it a desirable content-creation machine. A new logo has been implemented, which is one change that you will most likely observe. The iconic dragon that has come to represent MSI’s gaming products is now exclusive to those products; the Prestige series now bears the same plain old MSI letters as the business-chic Summit Series. In addition, the port configuration has been altered.
The Evo has two USB-C ports on the left and one USB-A port, a microSD card slot, and a headphone jack on the right. In comparison, the Prestige from the previous year had the microSD card slot on the left and a second USB-A port on the right. It makes me unhappy that there is only one USB-A port left (and that port only supports USB 2.0, which is an outdated standard at this time), but other than that, the port selection is sufficient.

Where to get MSI Creator M16 laptop?
Despite this, I have a few concerns with the chassis. First, it attracts fingerprints like a magnet, and after only a few days of use, the lid was completely coated in visible smudges all over it. It also has a slightly plastic-like texture, and both the screen and the deck have some degree of flex to them. Second, not only does the 1920 x 1080 display have a constricted 16:9 aspect ratio, but it also has a dim maximum brightness level of 248 nits, according to my tests.
Because of this, it is not a good option to use it outside or in other environments with a lot of light. Even though the battery life of the Prestige 14 Evo is not particularly good, you should be able to go through the better part of a workday with it. The battery on the laptop lasted for a total of 8 hours and 45 minutes when subjected to the Laptop Mag battery test, which consisted of continuous web surfing over Wi-Fi at 150 nits.
