The Razer BlackShark V2 is one of the best headsets for gaming on the market, regardless of price. What more could you want? It blocks out noise better than some noise-canceling headphones, sounds more accurate than most gaming headsets, and is comfortable enough to wear for hours without getting too hot.
Both the Razer BlackShark V2 and the Razer BlackShark V2 X have oval-shaped ear cups.
They are made of black plastic with neon green details and the Razer logo in neon green on each cup. Unlike the V2 X, the faux leather on their headband and ear cups is covered by soft cloth. The boom mic can be taken off.

Where to get Razer BlackShark V2 Gaming Headset?
The Razer BlackShark V2 headphones are easy to wear. Their headband is more comfortable than the Razer BlackShark V2 X’s, and their memory foam ear cushions are covered in cloth instead of fake leather.
The controls on the Razer BlackShark V2 are not good. There are only two buttons, but they are easy to use and give good feedback. There is a mic mute button and a volume wheel with a notch in the middle that stops the wheel from moving when the volume is at its minimum or maximum.
The Blackshark V2 sounds beautiful when it comes to both games and music. At least some of that is because the headset has THX spatial audio built in. You probably know THX as the legendary company that made movies like Star Wars sound so good, but the company also licences its technology to home audio equipment.
The Blackshark V2 has THX Spatial Audio turned on by default, and it can also tell if the programme you’re using needs its Game, Movie, or Music mode. The stereo sound on the Blackshark V2 is also good, but turned on the THX for almost every application, and it made everything better.
We didn’t expect the Blackshark V2 to sound as good as it did. Most gaming headsets make music sound flat and uninspired, but the music here has some depth to it. Both the Razer software and the THX protocols have music modes. These modes give the bass a big boost and make the vocals and treble more balanced. As we’ve already talked about, the most noticeable thing about the Razer Blackshark V2 is its THX profiles.
Even without that, though, the headset has a few good points. First and foremost, it has a clear, precise microphone that filters out a lot of annoying consonant sounds. Just be aware that the mic is pretty quiet by default, so you’ll need to adjust the pickup in the Razer Synapse software.
