The Skullcandy Hesh 2 Wireless joins a lot of other Bluetooth headphones that are affordable but not cheap. The over-the-ear Hesh 2 headphones cost $99.99 and have a cool design. They offer a good listening experience and come with a removable cable that lets you use them passively. This adds value to the price and saves battery life when you don’t need a wireless stream.
There is a rich low-end response and decent clarity in the highs, but the sound signature is not for audiophiles (there’s too much shaping in the high-mids and highs) or bass fans who want a massively boosted experience.

Where to buy Skullcandy Hesh 2 Headphones?
The Skullcandy Hesh 2 headphones look nice. For an over-ear model, they aren’t too big. They are completely black and have a matte finish. Around the ear cups are silver accents, and the Skullcandy logo adds a little more style. They aren’t the most interesting headphones, but they look nice and the way they are made will work for some people.
The SkullCandy Hesh 2 headphones aren’t too bad when it comes to comfort. Once on your head, they don’t feel too heavy or tight and have well-padded ear cups. Unfortunately, the headband isn’t padded, and the size of the ear cups is between an on-ear model and an over-ear model, so they don’t fit properly on or around your ears. This makes long listening sessions uncomfortable, especially for people with bigger ears.
The sound of the Skullcandy Hesh 2 Wireless is undemanding; it’s so smooth that it almost melts your brain. It’s about as far from harsh or sibilant as you can get, and as you might expect, the full-size design and larger drivers give the sound a satisfying scale. Skullcandy says that its Supreme Sound technology is made for “powerful bass, warm, natural vocals, and precision highs,” and we can agree with at least some of this. The sound is very warm, and the bass is pumped up.
It lasts a long time. It’s rated for 15 hours, and your phone or tablet should have a battery-life indicator that shows you how much juice you have left (we tried the headphone with an iPhone 5S and Samsung Galaxy S5). Some full-size Bluetooth headphones can last a little longer than 15 hours, but 15 hours is a good number.
