The Skullcandy Mod true wireless earphones are the company’s newest low-cost, no-frills product. The pair is good in many ways: it has deep bass, a long battery life, and a design that keeps water out. The on-ear button controls won’t work for everyone, and the sound right out of the box isn’t very balanced. However, the main problem is that the earbuds don’t bring anything new to the table.
The Mod earpieces are chunky and come in black. They have a big Skullcandy logo on them. The in-ears fit well and should stay in place during most moderate exercise. There are three sets of silicone eartips in the box to help you find the best fit.
[content-egg-block template=offers_logo hide=price]The frequency response of the 6mm dynamic drivers inside is from 20Hz to 20kHz. The pair works with Bluetooth 5.2 and supports the Bluetooth AAC and SBC codecs, but not AptX. The earphones have multipoint connectivity, which means you can connect them to more than one device at once. Instead of capacitive touch panels, the controls on the earpiece are made up of buttons. Physical controls can reduce the number of misfires, but these buttons need a lot of pressure to work, so each time you use them, you push the earpieces further into your ears. This is more annoying than painful, though.

Where to get Skullcandy Mod TWS?
Press the outer panel of either earpiece to play or pause music or to answer or end calls. Hold down the left or right earpiece for one second to move to the previous or next track, respectively. When either button is pressed for three seconds, the connection with the current device is broken.
Skullcandy says that the headphones can run for about seven hours on a single charge, and that the case can hold enough power for another 27 hours. These numbers are a little higher than average for a pair of true wireless in-ear headphones, but as always, your results will depend on how loud you usually listen. With the Rapid Charge feature, you can get two hours of play time from 10 minutes of charging.
