The Sony LinkBuds made a big splash earlier this year. They have a unique ring-shaped design that lets you stay in touch with your surroundings without using a transparency mode. But a new LinkBuds has come to town, and it’s following up by… leaving it all behind. The Sony LinkBuds S are a standard pair of wireless earbuds, which is both a good and a bad thing.
The LinkBuds S are easy to wear and use because of their familiar design. The earbuds come with four different sizes of ear tips, and the shape of the buds makes them fit very comfortably in my ears. If you seal the ear, you won’t be able to hear your surroundings as well as you could with the original LinkBuds. However, you will be able to hear the bass in your music. With a sealed fit, you shouldn’t have to turn up the volume to unsafe levels when there is a lot of noise around you.

Where to get Sony LinkBuds S?
The LinkBuds S don’t just block out noise; they also have a mode called “transparency” that lets you hear more of what’s going on around you. In fact, if you use Sony’s Headphones app, you can change the sound to 20 different levels, which is a lot of freedom.
The LinkBuds S have a feature called “Speak-to-Chat,” which lets you start a conversation while still wearing the headphones. When you start and stop playing music after you stop talking, they automatically cut out. You can change how sensitive the feature is so that it doesn’t turn on when you cough and how long they wait before sending music back into your ears.
