Where to get New Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II?
[content-egg-block template=offers_logo hide=price]Together, the oval silicone eartips (which also come in sizes S, M, and L) and the bands make for a secure fit in the ear that rarely needs to be adjusted. Even though the QC Earbuds II are still on the chunkier end of the in-ear range, they’re a lot sleeker than their predecessors. They look less like beetles crawling into your ear and more like earphones should. The earpieces have wide, flat stems that stick up vertically and have the Bose logo. The enclosure for the driver is a bit big, and it has ports covered with acoustic mesh that keeps water and dust out.
They are very comfortable and stable in the ear. They come with three sizes of silicone ear tips and three sizes of stabilizing wings that can be mixed and matched to get the right fit. The Bose Music app has a test to see if the headphones fit well in your ear. Each stalk is touch-sensitive, so you can play music, turn off noise, and control the volume with a swipe. When you take out a bud, the music stops and changes to transparent mode.
The earbuds can play music for about six hours and can be stored in a case with a flip-top lid. The earbuds can be fully charged three times in the case. It is much smaller than its predecessor and easier to carry around in your pocket, but it is still 50% bigger than the best on the market.
Install the Bose Music App (iOS/Android) for the QuietComfort Earbuds II to get firmware updates, change the EQ to your liking, and get new features as they come out. You can also use an ANC intensity slider in the app to make your own ANC settings for different environments. Turning the slider all the way down doesn’t turn off ANC, it just makes the effect less noticeable. Like the Bose QuietComfort 45, there is no way to turn off ANC mode for a regular sound mode that doesn’t use ANC or Aware.
