The ASUS Zenbook Pro 14 OLED is a fun-sized powerhouse despite its appearance. It matches the MacBook Pro 14-inch M2 in Geekbench 6 CPU and GPU tests. It also scored well in PCMark 10 and Cinebench R23, showing its video editing and visual design capabilities. Most significantly, Photoshop and several other programm ran smoothly on it, even when the fans kicked in. I could run major games like Forza Horizon 5, No Man’s Sky, Cyberpunk 2077, and others on it, but I hooked up a second monitor because I prefer bigger screens over 14-inch laptop screens. However, the OLED’s brilliant and crispness made watching TV and films fun.
Battery life is sacrificed for performance. If you want to work, the Zenbook won’t last 10 hours on a charge, even though ASUS promises it can. I could stream a video for over 8 and a half hours on a single charge, but I had to plug in before I could conclude a hectic workday on battery power.
