The Amazon Kindle Oasis does not adhere to the mini-tablet design that is typical of most e-readers. Instead, one side of the device is noticeably thicker than the other, creating a ridge that runs along the back to make it (in theory) easier to handle with one hand. In practice, we discovered that the ridge was not quite thick enough to provide a comfortable hold. The ridge measures 8.4 millimeters in thickness, which is just 5 millimeters thicker than the main body, which measures 3.4 millimeters, so it does not create a deep enough ridge to truly get your fingers into.
When we tried to hold the Kindle Oasis by solely utilizing this ridge, we noticed that it was a little difficult to do so; therefore, we would not recommend it depending on how you prefer to sit in order to read. The ‘warmth’ light setting is another one of the major new additions to the Kindle Oasis, and it can be found in the menu that is used to configure the device’s settings. This gives the display an orange tint, which not only makes it easier on the eyes to look at while nighttime reading but also helps preserve your eyes from the strain of prolonged reading.

Where to get Kindle Oasis?
This flexibility is not because of the E Ink screen itself, which is still only capable of displaying a single color. Adjustments are made to the Oasis’ brand-new 25 LED backlights in order to achieve the desired color alterations. It contains over twice as many LEDs as the one it replaces (12), which allows it to illuminate the screen more consistently while also allowing for a smooth transition between cool and warm color temperatures. You can even program the level of warmth to change based on the time of day or to correspond with dawn and sunset, making the screen warmer in the evening when there is less natural light available for reading from.
You have a wide variety of formatting options available to you, regardless of what you choose to read, provided that the file contains text (this does not apply to comics). The Oasis provides users with 10 distinct fonts, including both serif and sans serif variants, as well as fourteen font sizes, as well as a number of options for spacing and alignment. You have the option of storing your preferred configurations as themes, which can then be toggled between with the push of a button.
