This quick lesson shows you how to Enable ‘Type to Siri’ on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Siri is a very helpful personal helper, but sometimes we don’t want to talk or can’t. It could be something as simple as a sore throat or a day of meetings, or it could be something more serious like a disability.
Apple has been smart enough to let you change the voice helper into a keyboard assistant. Siri is Apple’s voice helper. It listens to what you ask and tells you the answer out loud. But starting with iOS 16 on the iPhone/iPad and macOS High Sierra on the Mac, you can type Siri’s commands instead of saying them.
Let’s say you’re working on your Mac in the library and you want to use Siri to answer a question. You might find it hard to use a voice aid in the library. You can also go to the official Apple support site to know more information.
