How do I disable the emoji keyboard on my iPhone? I’m uninterested in emoji popping up and taking up 1 of many slots in Messages predictive textual content recommendations.

The emoji keyboard in iOS is straightforward to disable:
- Open the Settings app.
- Go to General> Keyboard and faucet on Keyboards on the high. (There is a quantity subsequent to it – that’s the variety of keyboards you’ve put in.)
- Tap Edit, then faucet the pink circle subsequent to Emoji.
- Tap Delete.
You now not see the emoji image on the default keyboard in Messages and elsewhere in iOS, and emoji will not be provided as predictive textual content recommendations.

Disable emoji | Disable emoji keyboard: Turn emoji again on
Again, that is performed in Settings. Go to Settings> General> Keyboard after which faucet Keyboards. Tap on Add New Keyboard and scroll down a bit till you find Emoji. (The record is often in alphabetical order – they simply put all English on the high. Emoji is between Dutch and Estonian.) Tap Emoji.
Now the emoji keyboard is again and you may take it off the default keyboard by tapping the little smiley face on the backside left. Emoji recommendations are relisted as predictive textual content, and (in case you use Messages in iOS 10) emoji-appropriate phrases are highlighted in orange once you faucet the emoji button and alter to the related emoji once you faucet it.
