This article will show you how to Organize Contacts on iPhone, iPad or Mac. In iOS 16, the stock contacts app got some big changes, like the ability to export all contacts, transfer all Gmail contacts, find and merge duplicate contacts, and quickly delete contacts. Putting contacts on iPhone, iPad, and Mac into lists is another function that is just as important.
By default, the friends app for Mac sorts names by last name and shows the first name before the last name when you look at a list of friends in the address book. With a few small changes, you can change how the Contacts app in MacOS shows and sorts the people in the address book.
You can also change how names look without changing how they are sorted, which may be a better option for some. The Contacts app on your Mac is where you can find information about everyone you know, like their email addresses, phone numbers, and even their social media profiles. You can also go to the official Apple support site to know more information.
