If Covid has shown anything, it’s that people have had to think outside the box when trying to connect with people far away. The Amazon Glow feels like a product that could spread like a virus. It’s made so that kids can play with all kinds of Amazon Kids+ material and share that experience with someone watching from afar.

For example, a grandparent can use the Glow app on a tablet to read books, play games, and draw. The Glow then projects the tablet’s screen onto a big white mat. The projection is also sensitive to motion, so the grandchild and grandparent can draw or turn pages of the same book together. At the same time, a small screen on the Glow lets the kid see the grandparent’s face and talk to them, just like any other video chat.
