ASRock PG34WQ15R2B review 2024: great gaming experience

When a lot of new technologies hit the market, prices will always go down. After a few years, some of the best game monitors now have curved, ultra-wide screens at prices that aren’t too high. For less than $500, you can get a 34-inch WQHD (3440×1440) game screen that runs fast and gives you a good gaming experience.

With only four menu options and the essential settings for competitive gaming, the PG34WQ’s OSD is one of the most streamlined I’ve used. You may bring it up by pressing the joystick. Quickly access the brightness slider or camera modes with the shortcut keys. To control the volume, move the joystick to the right, and to switch inputs, click it to the left.

ASRock, a Taiwanese company best known for its motherboards, is now also making game monitors. The ASRock Phantom Gaming 34 (PG34WQ15R2B) is one of its first products in this field. It is a 34-inch display with a curve of 1,500mm. It comes with a lot of nice features, like a Wi-Fi antenna, which ASRock says is the first of its kind on a game monitor. Even though the ultrawide monitor’s colour gamut and brightness scores aren’t the best, it has a lot to offer for a price that is surprisingly low at $429.99. We were surprised by how well the 34-inch ASRock Phantom Gaming monitor worked. It may not have done well in all of the tests, but its worth is what makes it strong. At only $429, it’s one of the best deals on a monitor this size that you can find. And since it has a Wi-Fi antenna and speakers built in, it’s a good choice if you want to save money on your next computer build. The Phantom Gaming 34 is a good monitor if you’re ready to give up some things to get a big widescreen.
