If you have a lot of parties, and we mean BIG parties, this review of the JBL Partybox 710 is where you should be. It’s one of the most powerful JBL speakers, and your neighbours might have something to say when their walls start to shake. JBL is an audio company that makes a lot of great speakers.
Like the tiny JBL Go 3, the small but powerful JBL Charge 5, and the weatherproof JBL Xtreme 3. JBL is a big part of T3’s list of the best Bluetooth speakers. The JBL Partybox 710, on the other hand, is a whole different ball game. It’s a huge piece of equipment that sounds just as big, and it even has a cool RGB light show.

JBL PartyBox 710 review: Design and battery life
First of all, the JBL Partybox 710 is huge. It measures 399 x 905 x 436.0mm, which is about the size and shape of a mini-fridge. It’s also very heavy at 27.8kg. It has two wheels and a handle so you can move it around, but it will be hard to get it up and down stairs. It’s mostly black and has a small JBL logo on the front. It has rubber feet on the bottom and on the side so you can put it horizontally or vertically, depending on where you want to use it.
It comes with a 2-meter power cable, and when you plug it in, you’re in for a treat. Under the speaker grille is a colourful RGB light show that will blow your mind the first time you see it. I sat there and watched it for a while because it’s so fascinating. The room is lit up by two connected circles of flashing and strobing lights that move to the music.
JBL PartyBox 710 review: Sound quality and features
If you do, you’ll quickly notice that something is missing here and there. But the sound is better on the big JBL PartyBox than on the Sony MHC-V73D, which is the same price and about the same size.
It’s like a big version of the portable JBL Boombox 2, but it has a soundstage that the smaller one doesn’t even come close to. Two Ultimate Ears Hyperbooms in stereo come close and sound a little more balanced, but even with two you don’t get the same physical bass as from one PartyBox 710. You can buy this party speaker from its official website.
JBL PartyBox 710 review: Connectivity
The Bluetooth connection and guitar/microphone inputs on the PartyBox 710 are also great for impromptu jam sessions or karaoke nights. And the karaoke EQ tuning will not only make you sound great but also make you look great with the perfect light show for rocking out.
Looking for bigger sound? For a true stereo setup, you can use the True Wireless Stereo (TWS) button to connect two 710s together. Or, you can connect them with aux cables to make a chain.
JBL PartyBox 710 review: Price and availability
The JBL Partybox 710 costs $800 in the US, £700 in the UK, and AU$1,000 in Australia if you buy it from the JBL website. Look at the widgets on this page to find out where you can buy one else.
Final Words
The JBL PartyBox 710 is a big party speaker that looks the same as the other PartyBox speakers. This powerful speaker has RGB lights that you can change, a mic input, and a guitar input. It can get very loud, so you can use it at big parties with lots of people.
When placed vertically and with the “Bass Boost” feature set to “Deep,” its boomy sound profile can produce a thumping and rumbling low-bass that can please fans of bass-heavy music like hip-hop or EDM. Even though it has a built-in handle and wheels to make it easier to move.

Does JBL PartyBox 710 have good bass?

Is JBL 710 good for karaoke?
Definitely a yes! The main reason we bought the Partybox 710 was to use it as a karaoke speaker. When we plug in my wireless mics and connect my smart TV to it, it works perfectly for that. We like that it has bass, treble, and echo controls for karaoke.
