The UltraGear 27GR95QE-B has a 27-inch OLED monitor with a resolution of 2,560 x 1440 and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It also works with HDR. With these specs and the 240Hz refresh rate, the picture is clear and smooth as butter. Surprisingly, the screen isn’t very bright, but we’ll talk about that soon.
We played Doom Eternal and Cyberpunk 2077 on this monitor, and the picture quality was so good that we were blown away. Picture Quality
The 27GR95QE is a 4k monitor with a reaction time of 0.03ms and a refresh rate of 240Hz. The standard brightness of the screen is 200 cd/m2, and the contrast ratio is unlimited, and the screen is both 100% sRGB and 98% DCI-P3. The OLED technology allows for this.
Gamer 1, Gamer 2, FPS, RTS, Vivid, Reader, HDR Effect, sRGB, Color Weakness, Calibration 1, and Calibration 2 are some of the picture quality presets included. Out of the box, the Gamer 1 preset looked the best, but you’ll need to tweak a few settings to obtain the correct colors and brightness.

Doom Eternal’s breakneck speed will test your reflexes to the limit. I wouldn’t go so far as to say that this screen improved my performance, but it didn’t hurt either. The UltraGear 27GR95QE-B worked flawlessly regardless of the number of simultaneous on-screen events or the rate of my own movement.

As the first gaming monitor we’ve examined in 2023, we can confidently say that the LG UltraGear 27 is among the best of the year. Its screen may not get as bright as others, but it more than makes up for it with its silky smooth operation and stunning picture quality. The compact size and straightforward style are also major selling points for me. But if I hadn’t needed a remote to navigate the menu, we might have given it a higher rating.
