The Moto G Power series of smartphones from Motorola has always been focused on providing long-lasting battery life for their devices. The pattern is carried on with the most recent edition, which also has significant upgrades in comparison to its predecessor. There is a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor in the Moto G Power 5G. Let’s just call it what it is: a single camera setup to spare some confusion. The 50-megapixel main camera can produce a usable photo under perfect lighting conditions. Photos were often overexposed, but it got the job done. The Moto G Power isn’t as good as it could be in less-than-ideal illumination. The camera system tends to go to night mode when it’s not necessary, resulting in blurry images. Battery and Charging

When the word “Power” is in the name of your phone, it should either have an unbeatable battery life or a very powerful processor, or both. With the Moto G Power 5G, you can leave the charger at home on a weekend trip because the phone’s parts work well and the 5,000mAh battery lasts a long time. If you don’t use your phone much during the day, we can say with certainty that you should be able to get to the three-day mark with this phone. Again, it depends on how you use it, but for everyday use, we think two days is a good amount of time.

Price and availability

One further disappointing aspect of the phone is that it does not have NFC. Those who rely on digital payments or use tap passes for the subway will have no luck all in this situation. This is an extremely typical problem with models that are lower in price, since manufacturers will trim away whatever they can in order to lower the price. However, you must never forget that this is a phone that costs $300. Always keep that in mind. And despite the fact that it is simple to expect more for your dollar, it is not as simple to check off all the boxes and obtain what you want.

If you mostly want to make calls, text, watch movies, and play games on your phone, the Moto G Power 5G works very well.
