OPPO Reno smartphones have been on an exciting journey. OPPO concentrated its flagship efforts on the Reno range because the X series was not available in India. They poured all of the most recent innovations from their research and development department into the Reno lineup, notably in the area of camera technology. When OPPO made the announcement that they were launching the Reno 10 series, interest naturally skyrocketed. Now that the curtain has been pulled back, OPPO has shown their Reno 10 Pro+, Reno 10 Pro, and Reno 10 smartphones, in addition to their Enco Buds 3 Air headphones.
In this review, we will take a look at the Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus 5G, which is an upgraded version of its previous models and features substantial improvements. This premium 5G smartphone radiates elegance and a lightweight form factor while being equipped with a quick Snapdragon CPU, blazing-fast charging, a gorgeous design, and an amazing telephoto portrait lens.

OPPO Reno 10 Pro Plus: Design and display

OPPO has been a leader in design for a long time, and the Reno10 Pro+ doesn’t change my mind. The phone has a curved glass back panel with a satin matte finish and a metal frame that shows off OPPO’s elegant build. Even though the phone weighs 194g and is 8.28mm thick, the way it was made makes it strong and sturdy. The device is made with a Silvery Grey color scheme.
What we find a little strange, though, is the device’s big oval-shaped cutout for the optics and how sharply it sticks out from the chassis. On the top of the phone is an IR blaster. The bottom of the phone has the standard USB Type-C port, dual-SIM slot, and bottom-firing speaker. The earpiece also helps with the sound setting because it can be used to make stereo sound. We think it’s safe to say that the OPPO Reno10 Pro+ is probably one of the best-looking phones in this group.
OPPO Reno 10 Pro Plus review: Camera
Oppo has been putting a lot of emphasis on the Reno 10 Pro Plus smartphone’s camera capabilities, especially its amazing camera setup. On paper, the device has a main camera with 50MP, a telephoto picture lens with 64MP, and an ultrawide angle lens with 112 degrees.
Starting with the 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor, it does a great job of catching light and taking high-quality photos. Thanks to the Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), the pictures won’t blur even if your hands are shaking or if something is moving. When the lighting is good, the photos are full of sharp, true colors and fine details. The natural way that greens, reds, and blues are shown adds to the general quality of the picture.
OPPO Reno 10 Pro Plus review: Performance

The functionality of the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ 5G can be attributed to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It is produced using a TSMC technology that is 4nm, and it is 30% quicker and more powerful than the 8 Gen 1 model that came before it. The chipset contributes to the device’s rapid processing, silky smooth operation, and practicality. When working on demanding things like editing films or playing games, there aren’t very many pauses in the action.
It comes with 12 gigabytes of random access memory (RAM), which enabled the gadget to continue operating without any hiccups even though we had more than 20 apps open at the same time. The applications launch and load in a short amount of time, and bringing them forward from the background has never slowed down the performance of the device.
There are numerous apps already installed, including Tiki, Telegram, Spotify, Snapchat, PhonePe, Moj, and Dream 11 amongst many others. Even if most of them can be removed if you decide you don’t want them, Oppo made a significant error by preloading their greatest phone with a large number of pointless applications.
OPPO Reno 10 Pro Plus review: Battery Life
The 10 Pro+ charging speed has also been increased from 80W to 100W. In 5 minutes, 27% is charged, and a full charge takes less than 30 minutes. Wireless charging is still not allowed, which is a shame The 4700mAh battery size hasn’t changed. Since it has a more powerful chip and doesn’t have a very big battery, the battery life doesn’t surprise us in any way.
Final words
As you can see, OPPO has been working hard to make its Reno series as complete as possible, and the Reno10 Pro+ is their second flagship phone after the Find X6 Pro line. If the phone’s weight, thickness, telephoto camera, and selfies are more important to you than any other features, you may want to look elsewhere.
OPPO Reno 10 Pro Plus review: The good and The bad
Aside from this, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ has a design that screams flagship from every angle. It’s a pretty impressive looking phone.
The Good
- Premium design
- Fast charging
- Capable cameras
The Bad
- Inadequate peak brightness
