The Polar Pacer Pro is one of the best running watches in its price range. Serious runners will love it, and outdoor sports fans will find it useful as well. With its built-in GPS, it can keep track of your runs and give you accurate information in the Polar Flow app about your pace, distance, cadence, elevation, running power, and more.
Race Pace looks at how you’ve trained in the past, how long you want to run, and how far you want to go to give you a suggested pace. The Flow app gives you detailed information about your runs’ elevations, heart rates, and other metrics. It’s hard to export data from one workout and compare it to another, but you can dig deep into each training session.

Polar Pacer Pro review: Design

The Polar Pacer Pro is a well-made watch with a bright 45mm, 1.1mm thick Gorilla Glass screen that’s easy to read even in bright light. The rest of the watch is just as well made. It has Polar’s typical five-button layout, with a bright red “ok” button in the middle and up, down, light, and pause or menu buttons on either side.
Since we were used to the similar functions of Garmin‘s five buttons, it was a bit of a shock to find that different functions were mapped to different places: During my first week, kept stopping runs by pressing the wrong button. You can buy thi smartwatch from its official website.
Polar Pacer Pro review: Performance
Polar says that the Pacer Pro’s 265mAh battery can last for up to seven days on a single charge, which is the least I’d expect from a sports watch at this price. With GPS, you can expect to track for 35 hours. With Polar’s Power Save training mode, that time goes up to 100 hours.
When you switch to tracking mode, the latter changes how fast the GPS records and turns off the heart rate monitor. Taking into account all of the features, like all-day monitoring, smartwatch functions, and regular GPS use, the average battery life is much closer to five days. Polar Pacer Pro review: GPS accuracy

You can use GPS for 35 hours, but in Polar’s Power Save training mode, you can use it for 100 hours. Taking into account all of the features, like all-day monitoring, smartwatch functions, and regular GPS use, the average battery life is much closer to five days.
Polar Pacer Pro review: Price and availability
The Polar Pacer Pro has done it. It was just released along with the Polar Pacer, which is a simpler model. It is a new-generation GPS watch with an integrated barometer, a high-performance core processor, and a brilliant display. It is surprisingly light and small. At $299.95, it’s also cheaper than many of its competitors that aren’t as good. And after only two weeks of wearing it, the Pacer Pro is now in the running for my favourite watch of all time.
Final Words
The Polar Pacer Pro is a great GPS watch for runners who don’t want to pay a lot for a high-end triathlete’s device. It will help you run better than a Fitbit or Apple Watch SE with good and accurate fitness features that costs about the same. For that extra star, it just needs full-color maps and music while you watch.
