The Razer Audio Mixer does what it was made to do. We used several mics, like the Rode PodMic and the Rode NT1 5th Generation, to test this small XLR. These are some of the better speakers we own, and the board works well with them. When we recorded my voice and set up streams, we got a nice, clear level.
Setting up the Synapse program was also a good way to make finer adjustments than just moving the sliders by hand. We really like how you can adjust how loud the microphones sound and the different channels for the game play that comes through a stream. I will say that I didn’t use the mute button all that much.
