Samsung Galaxy M14 5G: Design and Display

The Galaxy M14 5G is a minimalist device. The plastic used for the phone’s back is smooth, which may make it difficult to hold for some people. But we never worried that I’d lose control of it. The phone is reasonably light and has rounded edges, making it comfortable to carry despite its large size and battery. The power button and volume controls are located on the right, while the right side of the device features a capacitive fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. The phone contains a USB-C port, a 3.5mm jack for headphones, and a speaker grille. Do note that the charger is not included in the box. A USB-C cable and some reading materials are all that is included.
Samsung Galaxy M14 5G: Camera
The Galaxy M14 is equipped with triple rear cameras. Good quality and dynamic range may be seen in the primary 50MP camera during the day. Pictures taken in artificial light with the camera have low noise but sometimes look soft, and Night Mode works great. Only when taking portraits is the second depth-sensing camera useful. Due of its low 2 megapixel resolution, the macro camera is of limited use, and an ultra-wide camera would have been preferable. The 13 megapixel front-facing camera takes photos that are social media-friendly but may not shine in low-light situations. The M14 can only record in Full HD at 30 frames per second and lacks optical image stabilization.
Samsung Galaxy M14 5G: Performance

The Samsung Galaxy M14 5G has an octa-core Exynos 1330 chipset. A Dimensity 700 chipset powered the Galaxy M13. Exynos 1330 isn’t a particularly potent chipset, but it’s simple enough for regular use. You can go between apps, check your social media feeds, browse the web, watch movies, and do anything else without a hitch. We went with the larger of the phone’s two storage options, which has 128GB of space and 6GB of RAM.
RAM Plus, found on this and other Samsung devices, converts 4GB or 6GB of internal storage into RAM. Extra space can be added via the microSD card slot. For a budget phone, the Exynos 1330 performs admirably. This one is great for social media browsing, phone calls, music listening, and other uses, but it was not designed for gaming.
Samsung Galaxy M14 5G: Battery Life
Like its forerunners, the Galaxy M14 boasts an exceptionally long battery life. With average use, the device’s 6,000 mAh battery may last for two days. After a full charge, we had a screen-on time of almost seven hours of intense use, which is excellent.
Strangely (and disappointingly, given the price point), Samsung does not include a charger with your purchase. It’s a plan to reduce e-waste, which is good news for pandas and glaciers.
Final Words
With a larger battery pack and faster charging solution, the Samsung Galaxy M14 5G is a more economical alternative to the Galaxy A14 5G (review). The Redmi Note 12 4G is one among its rivals; it, too, has an attractive AMOLED display and an ultra-wide camera, but no 5G connectivity. The Vivo T2x is competitive with the Galaxy M14 5G in terms of pricing, but its lower 5,000mAh battery limits its usefulness.

The Galaxy A14 5G is a smartphone that is capable of capturing high-quality photographs in daylight, complete with a wealth of details and colors that are incredibly vibrant.
