The Galaxy J7 Pro, which we will now evaluate. The J7 Pro is an offshoot of the ever-expanding J7 family, and it is designed for the markets of India, South East Asia, and Brazil. Each of these markets will receive a version that is (very slightly) more locally adapted.
In this article, we will evaluate the J730GM/DS variant, with the GM designating that it is the model intended for use in India (if you are to trust Samsung‘s websites). This is a dual SIM phone, as shown by the inscription DS on the device.
The remaining components of the Galaxy J7 Pro are strikingly similar to those of the J7 (2017), which was previously evaluated by our team. You will have a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with an abundance of pixels; yes, it is FullHD, but the majority of J7 models from the previous year only supported 720p resolution.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro: Design
The first step to getting people to buy your phone is to make it look good. You know that feeling when a phone looks so good that you just can’t say no? This is what Samsung wants to do. The Galaxy J7 Pro is made of metal, but what makes it unique is how the radio bands are set up on the back. Most choose to put them in a straight line on the top and bottom or around the sides, but Samsung chose to put them in a sort of rectangular pattern. Some people might find it strange, but e have to say that we like it.
On the back, there is an oval camera and flash module that looks special and nice. And when you put all of this together with the solid metal design, you get a nice-looking smartphone. It has the usual round sides and slightly curved back edges of a Samsung phone. The aluminum feels thick, strong, and like it has been treated. Even if you drop it, it should be able to protect the gear inside. You can buy this phone from its official website
Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro: Display
High-resolution videos from Netflix and Amazon Prime look great on this screen when you watch them. What’s even better is that Samsung’s screen works well in sunlight and when you’re normally outside. Today, most inexpensive screens pass this test, but Samsung’s AMOLED panel does it better than most. You won’t have to squint or use your hands to block the screen.
From my experience, this is something that flagship-class smartphones have. Most low-cost phones are “just fine” when it comes to using them outside. The display on the Galaxy J7 Pro is bright, colorful, and high-end, and it is definitely more advanced than the TFT panel on the Galaxy J7 Pro.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro: Cameras
Both the front and rear cameras on the Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro are 13 megapixels in resolution. Both cameras have lenses, although the primary shooter’s is F/1.7 and the secondary’s is F/1.9. Each gun also has a separate LED flash module for use in low light. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro’s cameras look promising on paper. But before we get into how the cameras perform, let’s check out the camera app that comes standard.
The J7 Pro’s rear camera supports several shooting modes, including Pro, Sound and Shot, and Panorama, and uses the usual Samsung camera software. The software doesn’t clutter the viewfinder because it doesn’t offer many options.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro: Performance
The storage on the Galaxy J7 Pro is 64GB, which is enough for almost everyone. Still, Samsung has slowed down the raw speed to make up for the storage space and some of the other specs. This one has an Exynos 7870 CPU with eight Cortex A53 cores that are clocked at 1.6GHz. It also has 3GB of RAM, but this doesn’t make it stand out, either on paper or in real life. The phone’s speed is good enough for everyday tasks, but it’s slow. For example, the fingerprint reader takes a noticeable amount of time to recognize your fingerprint, and apps will also take a little longer to load. Even though the phone isn’t fast, it will get the job done.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro: Battery life
Although the 14nm Exynos 7870 isn’t the most powerful chipset in this group, it is the most energy-efficient. The phone may easily survive for a full day on a single charge because to the energy-efficient CPU and 3600mAh battery. Power saving settings can be activated to further extend the battery life.
The lack of a fast charging feature is the main issue with the battery life. The J7 Pro has a two-hour charging time. The fact that the J7 Pro is the first budget phone to include Samsung Pay in its entirety is easily its best feature. The NFC and MST standards are both supported by Samsung’s digital payments service.
Final Words
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro is a nice-looking phone with a few extra features. The build quality is great, the screen is bright, the cameras are better than average, and the battery will last you a whole day or more without having to be charged. On the other hand, this device isn’t made for heavy gaming, but it should be more than enough for casual gamers.

Questiona and Answers
It’s a very nice change. Among other things, it has a bigger screen, a faster processor, and a better camera. We used the Samsung Smart Switch app to move info from my old phone, the J3, to my new phone, the J7.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) has a Super AMOLED screen that uses less power. It also has FM radio, so you can listen to music on the go and record your favorite songs. The battery life is also good.
