When LG was still making smartphones, a Stylo model could be bought for a fair price. Motorola has a phone with a stylus called the Moto G Stylus, and now there is the TCL Stylus 5G to fill the space left by LG. The new Galaxy Note is the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, which starts at a price of $1,075. It’s one of the best pen phones on the market right now, but for the best experience, you might not want to pay more than four times what a TCL pen 5G costs.
TCL has a few good choices for phones that cost less than $450, and its own-brand smartphones have done well in the US market. Metro by T-Mobile sells the TCL Stylus 5G for $269.99, while T-Mobile sells it for $258. Unlike other phones at this price point, the TCL Stylus 5G is a good choice and TCL offers good support.

Design and Display

The TCL Stylus 5G looks great, but it only comes in a single colour called Lunar Black. The phone’s outside ends have a textured plastic frame that makes it easier to hold. The back panel is made of smooth plastic, but I didn’t find it to be too slippery or easy to get fingerprints on. The phone is a bit big, measuring 6.7 by 3.0 by 0.4 inches (HWD), and it weighs 7.5 ounces, but the smooth edges make it easy to hold. For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy A32 is about the same size and weight (6.5 by 3.0 by 0.4 inches, 7.0 ounces). You can buy this smartphone from its official website
TCL Stylus 5G: Software
One of the first TCL phones to come out with Android 12 and TCL UI version 4.x is the TCL Stylus 5G. The March 5 2022 security update for Android is already on the gadget under review. TCL said this phone will be updated to Android 13 and get security patches for two years. TCL’s user interface (UI) is pretty close to stock Android, with most of TCL’s customizations happening in the app launcher, pull-down shade, and settings that are related to TCL’s display technologies. The app menu lets you sort by name, how often you use it, where you installed it, and (this is new) the colour of the icon.
TCL Stylus 5G: Performance

Everything worked well, from apps to current games, and we even played Diablo Immortal on that beautiful, huge 6.81-inch screen without any problems that we ould tell. It even has a camera that is surprisingly good and works well enough in most lighting situations. Lower light is hard, but I wouldn’t expect a phone in this price band to do amazing things in low light. If anything, the phone’s ability to stabilise video even when going through uneven grass was impressive and better than many other phones in this price range I’ve used.
TCL Stylus 5G: Battery life
The TCL STYLUS 5G has a 4,000 mAh battery, which let me use only the most important apps all day. We only played a few games and watched a few videos, so this phone should last most people all day. The battery will drain faster, which is to be expected if you play games a lot or watch a lot of movies.
Overall, battery life is different for everyone because it depends on how you use your phone and what settings you have turned on. A 4,000 mAh battery is very good for the price.
Price and Availability
All of this puts the TCL Stylus in a bad spot. It’s cheap, for sure, but it’s also not very interesting. Even if a phone costs less than $300, it should have something that makes it stand out. The TCL’s low price, 5G, and pen don’t add up to a good deal.
Final words
In general, the TCL pen 5G is a good phone to consider purchasing if you are looking for an affordable phone that is compatible with a pen, provided that you are able to use it without placing your palm on the display. Because I use the stylus with all of my phones rather than putting my hand on the screen, it didn’t really disturb me at all when it happened. The TCL Stylus 5G is an excellent phone that can be purchased for an affordable price.

FAQS
There will only be one more Android software update for the TCL Stylus 5G, and it will get security patches for two years. This is short for this price level, since Samsung’s cheaper A-series phones get security updates for up to four years.
Lift your finger off the sensor on the side of your TCL STYLUS 5G and put it back down again. Repeat these steps a few times and do what it says on the screen. The picture of the finger has been added.
