Along with its Maven handset for AT&T, ZTE launched a 2nd Android device. Known as the ZTE Sonata 2, it’s out there on Cricket Wireless for $29.99 with a smartphone line activation or upgrade.
Though it serves as the successor to the ZTE Sonata 4G, the Sonata 2 takes a few steps back in terms of some of its specifications. For example, it has a less battery capacity (1,650mAh in comparison with the earlier 1,785mAh endeavor), and its dual-core processor’s clock speed has dropped barely from 1.4 to 1.2GHz.
The ZTE Sonata 2 does promise longer estimations for battery utilization (10 hours of talk time and 320 hours of standby in comparison with the predecessor’s 5 and 312 hours, respectively).
