The ROCCAT Elo X Stereo is a good budget headset with good sound quality and a great microphone. The bass and sub-bass aren’t as loud as they are on most gaming headsets, and the isolation isn’t great, so it’s not for everyone. Still, the ELO X Stereo may be right for you if you live alone, don’t need to shut out other people, and would rather the sound of explosions be less loud.
The ROCCAT Elo X Stereo is a good gaming headset. It has great stereo sound that accurately shows where sounds are coming from in games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Splitgate. (Windows Sonic wasn’t running.) With other gaming headsets that have a bassier sound, CS:GO can sound overwhelming, but this one sounds great. The sounds of footsteps and jumps aren’t too loud, and even gunshots from bigger, louder guns aren’t too much.

Where to get ROCCAT Elo X Stereo gaming headset?
Even though the industry is slowly moving away from the loud, “gamer-ified” headsets that we have come to accept, Roccat is still playing the waiting game on that front. The Roccat Elo X Stereo is clear evidence that it is a gaming headset. But I’m being too hard on the design. At least it’s not garish with bright colours, and its black body makes it look pretty sombre. The brand is shown by the two Roccat logos on the ear cups, which light up if you have the USB version of the headset.
The headset isn’t as cheap as it looks because it’s made of plastic all over. Even though it weighs 314g, it feels light in your hands, but it doesn’t feel cheap. When I turn the headset, I don’t hear any creaks, which makes me feel confident that it will last.
The Elo X Stereo has a suspension headband like some of the higher-end SteelSeries headsets. This means that the headset will fit your head perfectly without you having to make any changes. Just put it on your head, and it will automatically adjust to fit your head. The headband and earcups are padded with soft memory foam, which makes the experience mostly comfortable.
This headset has a pleasant sound signature that is well-tuned. It has a bit more energy in the bass and a bit more zing in the upper treble, but the midrange is smooth and pleasant. It sounds great for gaming and has enough clarity and detail that audiophiles won’t hate listening to it either.
