The Asus ZenBook Pro Duo 15 (UX582L) is a great piece of equipment if you are a creative professional who wants a powerful laptop with the versatility of a 2-in-1 without the hassle of using one, as long as its very high price is within your budget and you don’t need to type for a living.
At the very least, the ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED stands out. It’s big but sleek, with an angular shape that hints at the powerful parts packed into its magnesium-alloy shell. When you lift the lid, the second screen, called “ScreenPad Plus,” tilts up. This gives you a better view and lets you see an extra pair of fans that help air and heat move through the chassis.

Where to get Asus ZenBook Pro Duo 15?
You have to give up a lot for the ScreenPad Plus to be useful. To make room for the screen and keep the size of the device reasonable, the keyboard has been moved to the lower edge of the device, and the trackpad has been moved to the right side. As a lefty, this took me a moment to get used to.
On the right side of the machine, there are two Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports and one USB 3.1 Gen 2 port. The DC-in jack, an HDMI 2.1 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack are all on the left. The selection seems a little small for such a big machine, but most of the space is taken up by vents to keep things cool.
The second screen is a little harder to get your head around. The ScreenPad Plus has a resolution of 3,840 x 1,140 pixels, but its screen is not an OLED but a “IPS-level” display. The difference in quality is noticeable since it is next to a much better screen. In comparison, the colors feel flatter and less vibrant, which might disappoint someone who wanted to use it for inking.
