Acer’s main business is its Aspire 5 line, which has a lot of different models with both Intel and AMD CPUs and with or without a discrete GPU. The model shown here is a 15.6-inch office laptop with a Pentium Gold 7505 (Tiger Lake) processor. It costs about 500 euros. Devices like the Dell Inspiron 15 3505, the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ITL05, the HP 250 G7, and the Lenovo V15 G2 ALC are some of its competitors.
The Aspire 5 was sent to Windows Central for review by Acer (A515-56-34A3). It has an 11th Gen Intel Core i3 processor (CPU), 8GB of soldered DDR4 RAM with an extra SODIMM slot for upgrades, Intel UHD integrated graphics, and a 256GB M.2 PCIe NVMe solid-state drive (SSD) with space for a 2.5-inch hard-disk drive (HDD) if you want to upgrade after you buy it.

Where to get Acer Aspire 5 A515 laptop?
There are a lot of ports, so you should be able to set up a workstation even if you don’t have one of the best laptop docking stations. On the left side, there are two USB-A 3.2 (Gen 1) ports, two USB-C 3.2 (Gen 1) ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, a dropjaw RJ45 Ethernet port, and an Acer charging port. Charging with USB-C is better, but it’s not a big deal at this price.
On the right side of the PC is a single USB-A 2.0 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a Kensington lock slot for extra security if you’re using the laptop in an office. On some of the more expensive models, there is a fingerprint reader, but this one doesn’t have one.
Even for this price range, the speed of the NVMe storage is a pleasant surprise. It won’t be as good as what you get in high-end laptops, but you can upgrade it because there’s an M.2 slot and room for a 2.5-inch SSD.
