People are looking into home security cameras more and more every day, because it’s always a good idea to keep an eye out for trouble inside and outside the house. One of these that I’ve been able to try is the Nooie 360 Cam 2. It’s great for keeping an eye on your home while you’re there or away, as well as on your kids and pets. It has a lot of potential, even though the app you need to use it well needs to be worked on.
The camera looks like a small toy or a Star Wars droid right out of the box. It is a little over 4 inches tall and 3 inches wide, and it weighs a little more than half a pound. It’s easy to set up, and you can put it anywhere in your home where you want to watch what’s going on, like the living room, the nursery to keep an eye on your child(ren), etc.

Nooie 360 Cam 2 review: Design

The Nooie 360 Cam 2 looks cool as a security camera. It has a shape that looks a bit like the outline of a Minion. The basic shape and size of the new Nooie 360 Cam is the same as the old one. It doesn’t bother me because the body is neat and small and easy to put anywhere.
All you have to do is put the camera on a bookshelf. It doesn’t matter much where you put it because you can move where the camera is looking because it can pan and tilt. In the box is a USB power cable that fits into the back of the base. The round connector on the cable fits well and connects securely. You can buy ths camera from its official website
Nooie 360 Cam 2 review: Setup
We used the AC adapter and cable that came with the camera to plug it into a power outlet. Next, we hit the “+” button in the app and chose “Nooie 360 Cam” to start setting up the camera. We manually connected the cam to my Wi-Fi router‘s 2.4 GHz band, pointed the camera lens at a QR code, and then agreed to the company’s license to finish the pairing process. Video was going in less than four minutes.
Nooie 360 Cam 2 review: Video quality

The first Nooie 360 Cam had a video sensor that could record in Full HD. The Nooie 360 Cam 2 has a QHD sensor that can record video at 2304 x 1296. This extra detail makes the picture look sharper than it did in the original.
We thought the video was a little dark during the day, especially when the camera was facing my office doors. But there was a lot going on in the frame, and it was easy to tell who was who and what was going on.
Nooie 360 Cam 2 review: Performance
Even though it’s not as sleek as some competitors, the camera can be turned so that you can see the whole room no matter where you put it, and we found it to be very responsive. Both motion and sound detection can be set to different levels of sensitivity. We found that the highest settings could pick up people walking by and moving cars from a street-facing windowsill, as well as noise or movement inside the house.
You’ll get notifications from the Nooie app pretty quickly, so if something unexpected happens, you’ll know right away as long as your phone stays connected to the internet somewhere else through data or Wi-Fi.
Final Words
The Nooie 360 Cam 2 stands out from other cheap cameras because it has a low price, a full 360-degree view, and some cool tracking features. It’s a good choice if you want a camera you can use to look around your house when you’re not there. It’s not great for people who want to keep an eye on one place for security because it doesn’t have a default home position and the playback interface is hard to use.

FAQS
Does the nooie camera move on its own?
When the camera sees movement, it will turn to follow it so that it stays in the view. The camera will stay in that spot until it senses motion again or is moved manually through the Nooie app. Both Motion Detection and Motion Tracking can be turned on and off separately.
Is it safe to use a nooie camera?
Researchers from Bitdefender have found several security holes in the Nooie Baby Monitor. These holes could let attackers see what the camera sees or run malicious code. Baby monitors that are part of the Internet of Things are very helpful.
Can two people use the Nooie cam?
Nooie only lets one device at a time access a Nooie App account. This is for your safety. You can share Nooie Smart Home devices with your friends and family, though.
