How to enable Google Assistant Ambient Mode

1. Open Google App.
2. Click the “More” tab at the bottom right of the screen.
3. Tab Settings.
4. Tap Google Assistant.

5. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the list under “Assistant.”
6. Click on Phone in the “Assistant devices” section.

9. You can also turn on Photo Frame on Ambient Display, which will show Google Photos albums of your choice on the screen while the phone is charging.
10. Now, you’ll be taken to the process of setting up Ambient display. The page will also show up on your phone when you get a message about the new feature.
11. When it says “Do more while your device is charging with Ambient Mode” at the bottom right of the screen, click “Turn ON.”
12. In the next setup screen, the page will ask if you want to “see a slideshow of your photos with Ambient Mode.” Click “Continue” if you want it, or tap “No, thanks” if you don’t.
13. If you want to see your notifications while using ambient mode, click “Turn ON in settings” on the next page.

How to disable Google Assistant Ambient Mode

1. Open the Google app on your device.
2. Tap on the More button (three dots) in the top right corner.
3. Select Settings.
