What is Apple Music Replay?

The Apple Music Replay feature is like the popular Spotify Wrapped feature. It basically tells you how you’ve used Apple Music over the past year, including how much time you’ve spent listening, the songs you’ve played the most, and the artists you’ve listened to the most. You can find information about the whole year of listening for the years before, and you can also see stats about the year so far.

You can also look at Apple Music Replay playlists as well as statistics. These are lists of your favorite songs from the year based on how much you listened to music, how many times you played a song, and how long you spent listening to an artist.

How to find your Apple Music Replay playlists

Apple makes it much harder than it needs to be to find your Apple Music Replay playlists. They’re tucked away at the bottom of the Listen Now section, so you probably won’t find them by accident unless you’re looking for them. Even using Apple Music search to look for them doesn’t work.

1. Start up the Apple Music app on your phone or your computer.
2. Choose “Listen Now.”
3. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the screen.
4. Your Top Songs by Year is the last part.
5. There’s a link to the Apple Music Replay website, then a list of Apple Music Replay playlists for each year you’ve been an Apple Music subscriber.

How to find your Apple Music Replay stats

You can see a list of the songs you listened to the most this year, as well as statistics about how you listened to music this year. You can also find statistics for each year you’ve been an Apple Music subscriber. You can’t get to these stats directly through the Apple Music app; they’re on a separate web page. However, you can get to this page through a link in the Apple Music app.

1. Go to replay.music.apple.com in a browser.
   • Alternatively, tap Go To The Site on the current year’s Replay at the very bottom of the Listen Now section of the Apple Music app.
2. Sign in using the same Apple ID you use for Apple Music.
3. Scroll down the page to view the following statistics for the current year:
   • Number of Minutes Milestone: The most recent listening-minutes milestone you’ve reached, such as 10,000 minutes.
   • Songs Played Milestone: This is the most recent song played milestone.
   • Artists Played Milestone: The most recent milestone for the number of different artists played has been reached.
   • The five songs you’ve listened to the most in the past week.
   • Top Artists: The five most-listened-to artists based on total minutes.
   • Albums on Repeat lists the five most played albums.
4. Click the Replay menu at the top of the screen and choose a year to see statistics from a previous year.
5. Scroll down the page to see the following numbers for the selected year:
   • Number of Songs Played
   • Best Songs
   • Played by Artists
   • Top Musicians
   • Number of Albums Played
   • Best Albums
   • Playlists in Total Top Playlists Played
   • Top Stations were played by all the stations.
6. There is also a link at the top of the screen to play your Highlight Reel for that year.
   • This short video is like Spotify Wrapped in that it plays some of your most popular songs and gives you statistics like your Total Minutes, Top Song, Top Artist, Top Album, and Top Genres.
