The best golf shoes on the market will be comfortable, have a good fit, last a long time, grip the ground well, let your feet breathe, and look great. And when you putt out on hole 18, your feet will feel just as good as when you stepped up to the first tee. In the same way, this model works well on all fronts.
It’s the top-of-the-line model that regular golfers like you and me can buy in the same style that the brand’s Tour staffers wear. And since the beginning, it’s been mostly about fit and grip. Even if you’ve worn previous versions, you’ll notice right away that this version fits more naturally and gives you more stability, grip, and comfort.

Year after year, Puma Golf makes shoes that have the best of everything: support, grip, comfort, fit, style, etc. Everything you could want in a golf shoe is right here. A great example is this new shoe. Start with how it looks. It comes in four different color options for men and three for women. And what do you know? All of them look great. The upper looks like rubber mesh, and the tongue and heel collar are soft.
The bottom of the shoe has a white sidewall and an outsole that matches the upper well. All of this was done in a very nice athletic style. If you wore these to a basketball game or tennis match, no one would think twice about whether or not they were the right shoes. The way the materials are used is also impressive. The shoe is made with Adapt foam, which is made from EVA cushioning and a polymer that can handle being hit.
The Good
- Waterproof design keeps feet dry in wet conditions
- Synthetic leather that will last for a long time
The Bad
- If there isn’t enough air flow, feet may get hot and sweaty during long rounds.

The Ecco Biom C4 is one of the most technologically advanced spikeless golf shoes we’ve tried this year. Its comfort, grip, style, and ability to let air in really impressed us. Ecco’s Exhaust Grid technology is used in the Biom C4. It pulls cool air toward the bottom of the foot to keep it cool. This, along with the shoe’s Gore-Tex lining and its breathable Ortholite insole, makes it the most breathable shoe we’ve tried in 2022.
Another great thing about Ecco shoes is that the insole can be taken out to make the shoe wider. This means that people with wider feet can wear the Biom C4, and taking out the first insole didn’t change the amount of comfort or cushioning. It’s definitely a step in the direction of a more athletic Ecco shoe, and we think this change in style will attract golfers of all ages to Ecco shoes. These are some of the best-looking golf shoes we’ve seen this year.
The Good
- Waterproof design keeps feet dry in wet conditions
- Material made of high-quality Yak leather that will last for a long time
- Good grip on the bottom so you can stay on your feet when you swing.
- Easy to wear because it is light and flexible.
The Bad
- Compared to other golf shoes, they are expensive.
- Might not fit as well as other golf shoes.

The well-known Pro SL will still be in its fourth generation in 2023. The new midsole technology in the Pro SL makes it comfortable and gives your feet energy back as you walk. Also, the upper of the new version has been cleaned up, and the colors have been simplified, as you can see in the pictures of the sample we tested.
As for how it does on the course, it continues to do well. The shoes are very comfortable right out of the box, and the sole design is one of the best we’ve seen on spikeless golf shoes. It gives you all the grip you need, even when it’s wet and snowy.
The Good
- Waterproof design keeps feet dry in wet conditions
- High-quality leather that will last a long time
- Good grip on the bottom so you can stay on your feet when you swing.
The Bad
- May take some time to get used to for maximum comfort.

Adidas has been criticized in the past for making golf shoes that are too heavy, but with ZG23, they’ve put an end to that. They are very light golf shoes that push the limits of what can be done with lightweight shoes. It’s a hybrid golf shoe with a recycled upper, a Lightstrike midsole for maximum cushioning and energy return, and a six-cleat Traxion outsole to hold everything together.
Many shoe companies say that six cleats are not enough to give a shoe the best grip. But the spikes and layer of strategic molds on the outsoles make you feel like you’re closer to the ground and help you move your weight through the swing. The ZG23 also has 3D cradles along the sides to keep the club stable as you swing it. It has everything you’d expect from a high-priced shoe worn by some of the best players in the world, and it’s also completely waterproof.
The Good
- Styled design with a choice of colors
- Easy to carry and comfortable
The Bad
- Some people may find the fit to be a little bit tight.

No matter what you’re looking for in a golf shoe, price is always a big deal, and this one fits the bill. The Under Armour Charged Draw 2 still costs £95, but you get a shoe that looks great, is fully waterproof, is comfortable, and has great grip. It has nine cleats, and the RST 2.0 spikes hold the foot in place and stop it from moving laterally when you swing.
It has a microfiber upper and a TPU outsole, which makes it breathable, durable, and flexible, as far as we can tell. The “Charged Cushioning” sole is very responsive and comfortable. This is one of cleanest-looking shoes of the year, but it also works well in wet and muddy conditions and is easy to clean, which is one of the most important things to look for in a new shoe.
The Good
- Sleek and modern design
- Lightweight and easy to wear
- Gives the golfer good grip and stability on the course.
The Bad
- They might not last as long as other golf shoes on the market.
FAQs
Do any pro golfers wear spikeless shoes?
Do pros use spikeless golf shoes? Yes, some Tour golfers play with shoes that don’t have spikes, but they are still in the minority. Golf shoes give you better interaction with the ground, resulting in more grip. This lets you get more power from your legs and your rotation, which lets you go farther.
