8. choose the “Turn on Microsoft Defender Firewall” option to enable the firewall for the public network.
9. Click the OK button.

Command Prompt

1. Open Start.
2. Search for Command Prompt, right-click the top result,
3. select the Run as administrator option.
4. Type the following command to enable the firewall for the current network profile and press Enter:
   • netsh advfirewall set currentprofile state off
5. (Optional) Type the following command to disable the firewall
   • netsh advfirewall set allprofiles state off
6. (Optional) Type the following command to disable the firewall
7. netsh advfirewall set domainprofile state off

PowerShell

1. Open Start.
2. Search for PowerShell, right-click the top result,
3. select the Run as administrator option.
4. Type the following command to disable the firewall for the current network profile and press Enter:
   • Set-NetFirewallProfile -Profile Domain,Public,Private -Enabled False
