In the most recent iteration of the Nitro 5, Acer has opted for a somewhat uncluttered appearance, which is well received by us. It wasn’t so long ago that the majority of Nitro laptops (and a lot of gaming laptops in general, especially entry-level models) were covered with bold colours and design flourishes. However, this design has gradually become a design that is no longer used.
It was tough to find an affordable gaming setup that just looked like a regular laptop. The colour combination of garish red and black was particularly popular, and while some people may still enjoy that much-flogged combo, it was impossible to locate. In point of fact, the Nitro 5 that was released earlier this year had a totally different appearance, and the colour red was heavily featured. The corners of the lid and the vents on the back were a little bit more geometric, but this new iteration has a more squared-off and clean appearance.

Where to get Acer Nitro 5?
There is a lack of consistency in the positioning of ports on the Nitro 5, however it is convenient that the HDMI port, charging port, and Thunderbolt 4 are all located on the back of the device, which moves the cords out of the way. Each of the aforementioned three ports, in addition to a headphone jack, Ethernet, and three USB-A ports, contribute to the overall strength of the choices.
It would have been good to have an additional Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C) port, but the fact that this technology is currently present on a device that is less expensive is already a pleasant feature. The Nitro 5 is not an exception to the rule that manufacturers tend to overlook some features that are included in low-cost gaming laptops; this is also the case with the Nitro 5.
It is true that we are referring to the webcam and the speakers. You will most likely want to purchase a headset or separate speakers for the majority of the activities that you will be performing on this machine, just as you would with a gaming mouse. If you are someone who uses a camera on a regular basis, you will want to look elsewhere because the webcam is not very good.
