The two-year-old Insta360 One X was replaced by the Insta360 One X2, which is now at the top of our list of the best 360 cameras. Even though competitors like the GoPro Max and Kandao QooCam 8K have come out, we still think the One X is the best choice for anyone who wants to play around with the many video tricks that 360-degree cameras can do.
You can make “dynamic” “flat” videos with the camera swooping around your frame, and you can also add effects like the “bullet time” look that you see in movies like “The Matrix.” Does the Insta360 One X2 make these even better? The One X2 seems like a small improvement at first glance.
[content-egg-block template=offers_logo hide=price]It has what appears to be the same image sensor, which can record 5.7K video and take 18MP photos, and it has the same pill-shaped design. But there are a lot of improvements, such as the big plus of IPX8 water proof and a new live touchscreen display to see how your shots will look before you take them. There are also a lot of new software features.

Where to get Insta360 ONE X2?
The One X2 has the best stabilisation of any camera I’ve ever used. There are crazy shots you can get with this camera and still get really smooth video. A camera that isn’t 360 degrees would not be able to handle the fast motions in this video: 5.7K video is pretty high resolution for a 360 camera, and if you shoot in the right setting, you can get pretty good quality video.
The 5.7K video won’t look as good as a GoPro 4K video because it’s spread out in all directions. This is a problem with all 360 cams, not just this one. Even though the camera is made of stronger plastic and rubber, the lenses are still easy to damage. The lenses are likely to get broken if you drop the camera from any height.
