The Jlab Go Air Sport headphones are one of those workout headphones that can be easily overlooked. The Jlab Go Air Sport has come on the scene to prove that story wrong. They believe that wireless earbuds and headphones don’t have to cost a fortune to sound good and offer more than just the basic features.
They need to stay in place during intense workouts and not hurt our ears – these are the two design features we expect from our favorite workout headphones. But the Jlab Go Air Sport doesn’t just meet those two important items on our list of requirements. They go even further.
[content-egg-block template=offers_logo hide=price]The fact that both earbuds are incredibly lightweight definitely adds to their comfort, but we also have to commend the earbuds, which are comfortable even after hours of wear and effectively hold the earbuds in place.
If you’re not used to a design like this, there might be a bit of a learning curve – meaning you’ll have to use both hands to put them on for the first few days. But trust us, you’ll be able to put them on with one hand in no time. For a cheap pair of headphones, the touch controls are surprisingly reliable and precise. They’re also intuitive, making it effortless to use the headphones during your workout.
The touch sensors also let you choose between three sound profiles: JLab Signature, Balanced, and Bass Boost. The best part about these controls, however, is the fact that they include a volume control that not even the best earphones on the market offer. Press and hold on the right earbud, and the volume goes up. Do the same on the left and the volume goes down. Simple, effective, brilliant.
You wouldn’t think a pair of earbuds in this price range would sound very good, but the Jlab Go Air Sport punch above their weight. The sound quality is not only good, it’s actually pretty good considering how much you’re paying for them. There’s plenty of bass to keep you motivated and moving even when you’re sore or almost ready to give up, but not so much bass that it overpowers everything else. Treble is also surprisingly good for the price, and the mids are well represented as well.
