The Logitech M720 Triathlon is an excellent wireless mouse for office use. With its ergonomic shape and thumb rest, it should feel very comfortable even after prolonged use. It looks almost identical to the Logitech Precision Pro, with a slight color difference. When gripped with the palm or fingernail, it may feel a bit small for large or oversized people, but when held with the fingertips, it accommodates all hand sizes; Bluetooth and USB receivers allow pairing with three devices at once, and the third side button makes it easy to switch between them. It is also fully compatible with both Windows and macOS. Click latency, CPI range, and polling rate are not ideal for competitive gaming, but should be fine for casual, everyday tasks.
The Logitech M720 is also suitable for office use. It is excellently built, and with its ergonomic shape and thumb rest, it should feel comfortable for most hand sizes, even over extended periods of use. It has a large number of programmable buttons and great features such as gesture commands, infinite scrolling, and multi-device pairing. The M720 Triathlon Mouse has a comfortable design and comes with no less than eight buttons. The mouse is also moderately sized, making it an intermediate size that will satisfy both large and small hands.
I was able to operate it comfortably with my small right hand, but had to be careful to properly support my wrist due to the pronounced curves. In particular, the indented and textured thumb rest provided a comfortable place to place my thumb while operating the mouse. This part is also functional. At the top edge of the thumb rest are three function buttons: forward, back, and connect.
The power slider and battery box are located on the bottom of the mouse. The battery box can be easily removed by sliding it out with a finger. Inside the battery box is a slot for AA batteries and a Logitech Unifying wireless USB receiver (the same one used in the K780 keyboard). The mouse can transmit up to 10 meters via the Unifying receiver or Bluetooth 4.0. Via the Unifying receiver, the 2.4GHz mouse can be used with Windows, Mac, Chrome OS, Linux-based computers, and (as mentioned Windows RT is also supported.
