The Garmin Fenix 7X is the best multi-sport watch available right now. It can do and track almost anything. Furthermore, it is very accurate, and the Garmin Connect app provides very detailed information. It has a sturdy construction, excellent accuracy, and a plethora of activity tracking options. Extras like the solar panel and built-in flashlight can be extremely useful. However, at nearly a lakh, it is out of reach for the majority of us. Regardless, if you want the best, don’t mind spending a lot of money, and don’t mind having limited smart features, the Garmin Fenix 7X Solar is the wearable for you.
If you want something less expensive and only run or cycle, consider the Garmin Forerunner 55. It provides excellent accuracy as well as all of the juicy stats via the Garmin Connect app. However, you will not be without a number of features, including a touchscreen. If you’re looking for a multi-sport watch with a nice design, the Fitbit Sense might be the one. It’s attractive and has a nice colour touchscreen.
[content-egg-block template=offers_logo hide=price]The Garmin Fenix series has always been known for its toughness, and the Fenix 7X takes this a step further by adding protective button guards and metal-reinforced lugs to the watch case. Garmin also used reinforced materials in key areas to reinforce the structure and make the case more resilient without drastically altering the look of the watch. The same five buttons can be found around the case, and the bezel and case look strikingly similar to the Fenix 6 Pro.
The number of screws used to tighten the body has been reduced and moved away from the bezel, making the Fenix 7X’s watch face appear less cluttered. The Fenix 7 uses the new Elevate V4 optical heart rate sensor, first seen in the Garmin Venu 2, which has a different LED layout and provides more accurate heart rate readings. The standard silicone strap appears and feels the same as before.
