Where to get Garmin vivomove Sport Smartwatch?
[content-egg-block template=offers_logo hide=price]Overall, the Garmin Vivomove Sport looks very much like the other Garmin Vivomove watches. The watch comes in cocoa (brown), ivory (white), cool mint (green), and black. Standardly, the watch comes with a silicone band that matches the face. However, the watch is compatible with Garmin’s 20mm quick release bands, so you could swap in a leather or suede band if you wanted to.
The soft silicone band is easy to wear. It doesn’t feel sticky or rubbery like some smartwatch bands, which tend to gather dust and dirt. Also, instead of a metal accent, each colorway has a plastic clasp that matches the watch case. Again, this is another thing that makes this device more of a sports item than a luxury one. It should also fit most standard 20mm quick-release options from third-party stores.
Design-wise, it makes sense for Garmin to hide the screen, but what about when it’s turned on? When you raise your wrist or double-tap the glass, it turns on and is ready to show the time, battery life, and date. You can also tap the glass to use the menu system, which is a clever way to avoid having buttons on the case. The system works well and is accurate. Swipe the screen to see your steps, heart rate, and other health data. When you look at these screens, the hands move out of the way on their own.
The battery life is reliable enough to record your daily health trends and to wear to bed to record your sleep, but we didn’t find that it lasted five days. We had to charge the Vivomove Sport again after four days. This seems to be a common complaint among online reviews of the Vivomove Sport from people who have used it. But it is definitely more reliable than the Apple Watch 7 when it comes to general fitness trackers and battery life.
